PLENTY-Life participation in SDEWES

From October 5th to 10th the 20th international conference on Sustainable Development of Energy, Water and Environment Systems (SDEWES) took place in Dubrovnik, where we had the opportunity to present the PLENTY Life project and its holistic approach to support the Clean Energy Transition in small and medium-sized cities and towns with integrated spatial and energy planning.

At SDEWES almost 600 research papers on sustainable development were presented with topics reaching from green hydrogen to future district heating systems. Amongst others, a study conducted by BOKU University and BuildWind on the potential of medium-sized wind turbines for local energy systems in small and medium-sized cities and towns was presented and vivified discussed.
