During the ACT4MEDITERRANEAN roundtable, EURAC disseminated PLENTYLife’s approach to citizen and stakeholder engagement in spatial and energy planning for small municipalities. The presentation focused on the project’s capacity-buildingprogramme and participatory methodology, illustrating how co-creation processes, thematic workshops, and the multiple benefits approach can enhance social acceptance and governance capacity for the clean energy transition.
The experience of the PLENTYLifepilot cities was used to demonstrate how engaging municipal staff, citizens, and local stakeholders supports the translation of European climate goals into actionable local strategies.
