The 3rd PLENTY-Life project meeting took place in Italy on October 29-30, 2024, hosted by the Municipalities of Castelfranco Veneto and Dolo. The event brought together consortium members to discuss progress, challenges, and the next steps in advancing clean energy transition strategies.
The meeting was divided between the two host locations. On the first day, participants gathered at the Castelfranco Veneto Town Hall for discussions on capacity building, urban and energy strategies, and interactive sessions on tools for energy planning. The day also featured a visit to the Giorgione Paper Mill, showcasing their innovative energy system, based on gas and biogas.
The second day included a tour along the Riviera del Brenta, with visits to renewable energy project sites in Dolo. These visits highlighted local efforts in sustainability and energy innovation, providing inspiration for the consortium’s ongoing work.
The 3rd meeting showcased the commitment and collaboration of all partners in the PLENTY-Life project, driving progress toward sustainable urban energy solutions.
